The on screen text that opens a 13 second Instagram reel from @thisworldofadventure reads: “POV: You find the only Biscoff Cafe in the entire WORLD.” The caption, posted on September 18, 2026, asks “Anyone else obsessed with Biscoff as much as we are?!” and names the place as the Biscoff Coffee Corner at Pier 39 in San Francisco, California.

The first seconds are the reaction. A man with a mustache, in a blue jacket with a camera strapped across his chest, stands beside a woman in a bright pink jacket. Both wear shocked, delighted faces: she covers her mouth, he laughs and looks at her, and she turns to the camera with a wide smile. A wooden pier structure rises behind them.

The reveal is a small white building with red trim and an oval red sign reading “Biscoff Coffee Corner.” The reel cuts inside, where the man stands in front of floor to ceiling red shelves packed with red wrapped packages of cookies. Another shelf holds bags of coffee and boxed goods, and a close shot shows rows of red cookie packs above jars of spread. At the counter, a hand fills red paper cups next to a coffee machine and a carton of milk.

Outside again, the woman holds up two items in the next shots: first a small cup topped with a brown crumb, then a tray of a crumb topped treat, and a red cup stamped with the shop’s logo is held in front of the sign. The reel ends with a text overlay reading “San Francisco, California” while the woman throws her arms up in front of the shop.

The caption lists what the creators say the shop serves: “Biscoff lattes, cheesecake, waffles, croissants, cookie butter.” The reel itself shows no menu board.

The claim that stands out is the opening line, and Pier 39’s own page for the shop does not make it. That page places the shop at the front of the pier on level 1 and describes coffee drinks, smoothies and pastries. It does not call the shop the first or the only one of its kind. So “the only Biscoff cafe in the entire world” is the creators’ line, written as a point of view caption, and this article cannot confirm it.

The listing and the caption also differ on the menu. The caption names cheesecake and waffles, while the pier’s page lists pastries, smoothies and bottled drinks and names neither. Anyone traveling for a particular item should ask the shop first, since a menu can change.
