The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has opened bookings for 52 voyages across its two ships for a Summer 2028 season spanning the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, the line announced on September 9. Reservations are live now for sailings that won’t leave a single port until nearly two years from now.
That gap is the story. While most of us are still deciding where to go next spring, the yachting set is already locking in cabins for a season that doesn’t begin until late April 2028. It’s a reminder that at the top of the market, planning ahead isn’t a quirk — it’s how you get the sailing, suite, and itinerary you actually want before someone else does.
The newly released season runs from late April through October 2028 aboard the line’s two ships, Evrima and Ilma, with voyages ranging from four to nine nights. You’ll find roundtrip departures from Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Venice, and Reykjavík, threading through the Greek Isles, the Adriatic, Norwegian fjords, Baltic capitals, and Iceland’s volcanic coastline.

A May 14 sailing on Evrima runs seven nights from Nice to Rome, calling at Cannes, Portofino, and Elba. A nine-night Evrima voyage in July connects London to Copenhagen by way of the Norwegian coast, Geiranger, Kristiansand, and Aalborg. On Ilma, a seven-night Athens roundtrip in May takes in Mykonos, Santorini, Amorgos, and Nafplio, while a late-July roundtrip from Rome stops in Valletta, Taormina, and Amalfi. These aren’t itineraries you piece together the week before you fly out.

The addition of Gijón and Portovenere fits that thinking, giving guests smaller, lesser-visited harbors to balance out marquee stops like Santorini and Copenhagen.
The early launch also tracks with broader movement in the luxury cruise market, where lines are releasing European itineraries further and further in advance as demand for premium suites and marquee sailings keeps climbing.
