Chick-fil-A rolled out a new chicken and waffles sandwich lineup and two s’mores-flavored drinks nationwide on August 24, 2026, as part of the chain’s yearlong 80th-anniversary menu push.

The chicken and waffles sandwiches come in two sizes depending on when you order. The breakfast version, available until 10:30 a.m., pairs a smaller chicken filet with a maple-flavored waffle, while the entrée version served from 10:30 a.m. until close swaps in a full-size filet on a bigger waffle. Both come loaded with three strips of applewood smoked bacon, a honey butter spread, and a side of classic syrup for dipping, and customers can pick between the Original, Spicy, or Grilled chicken filet.

Rounding out the fall lineup are two new drinks built around campfire dessert flavor. The S’mores Milkshake blends the chain’s Icedream soft serve with chocolate shortbread pieces, graham cracker crumbles, and marshmallow-flavored syrup, finished with marshmallow whipped topping. The S’mores Frosted Coffee takes the same marshmallow syrup and mixes it with cold-brewed coffee and Icedream, along with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.

“We wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our Guests crave,” said Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A’s director of menu and packaging, in the company’s official announcement, adding that the goal was a taste that feels “both familiar and new to appeal to all ages.”

Both the sandwiches and the drinks are part of Chick-fil-A’s “Newstalgia” campaign, a yearlong initiative marking the company’s 80th anniversary by pairing nostalgic menu concepts with new twists, according to the press release. The campaign has already produced permanent additions to the chain’s menu this year, including Frosted Sodas, alongside limited-time offerings and collectible items like the chain’s Classic Cups.

The chain has not released official pricing for the new items, which are available at participating U.S. locations for a limited time this fall. As with past seasonal launches, exact end dates may vary by location, so customers should check with their nearest restaurant or the Chick-fil-A app for specifics.

The chicken and waffles concept taps into a comfort-food pairing that’s had a moment across the restaurant industry in recent years, while the s’mores drinks lean into the same campfire-nostalgia flavor profile that’s shown up in seasonal menus from coffee chains and dessert shops alike. For Chick-fil-A, folding both into one fall menu drop gives customers a reason to visit for breakfast, lunch, and a sweet treat all in the same trip.

Chick-fil-A’s seasonal menu drops have become a reliable marketing moment each fall, often generating buzz well before items officially hit the counter. Pairing a savory breakfast-and-entrée sandwich with a dessert-inspired drink lineup fits the pattern the chain has leaned on for its “Newstalgia” rollout throughout 2026, mixing permanent menu shakeups with limited-time seasonal exclusives. Customers hoping to try the new items should act relatively soon, since Chick-fil-A’s limited-time fall offerings typically give way to winter holiday menu items by late November.
